Membership
We all have a stake here. Better to hold it together.
Membership is open to owners of commercial and income-producing property throughout Monterey County, and to the service providers who work for them. Our programming and advocacy are focused on Carmel-by-the-Sea. What happens to one block happens to the next; membership is how owners answer that together.

Classes
Three classes. Ownership is the line.
You own the asset, you vote. You serve owners, you don't.
Regular Member
$250 a year
Has a vote.
For owners, and for anyone holding a beneficial ownership interest in commercial or income-producing property. Regular Members vote and may serve on the Board.
Associate Member
$175 a year
No vote.
For property managers, brokers, attorneys, accountants, insurance professionals, lenders, contractors, and other service providers with a commercial property focus. Associate Members get the newsletter, the gatherings, the directory, and committee service, but do not vote or hold office.
Honorary Member
No dues
No vote.
By invitation of the Board.
Founding rate
Members approved on or before 31 December 2026 receive $100 off first-year dues. First year only; renewals at the standard rate.
The process
How to join.
Applying and paying are two separate steps, in that order.
- Submit the application.
- The Membership Committee reviews it within 15 business days.
- If approved, you receive an invoice.
- Dues are payable within 30 days of that notice.
- Membership starts when the dues arrive. That date sets your renewal anniversary each year.
Dues are non-refundable. Renewal falls on the anniversary of your join date.
